VP400 Illuma, our most versatile imaging stand, offers all of the features of the VP400 Producer plus a built-in base illuminator for background lighting and large transparency copying. Using a single halogen lamp, cleverly mounted in an ingeniously designed light chamber, the illuminator provides exceptional evenness over its large glass & plexiglass aperture and is precisely color balanced to the sidelights. Having independent on/off and dimming switches, the base illuminator with its exclusive forced air cooling system, may be used in conjunction with or separate of the sidelights. Free standing, the VP400 Illuma's table can be adjusted in height for maximum user comfort. A screened steel insert covers the glass opening when conventional side lighted imaging is desired, offering all the features of the VP400 Producer.
